Bella the Rescue Dog Makes it to Utah
Everyone at the Thelen Auto Group of Bay City, MI, is pleased to announce that Bella, the rescue dog who made national news, has made it to her new home in Utah! Undertaking an 1,800-mile cross-country journey from Michigan to the Best Friends Humane Society in Utah, Bella and her traveling companions arrived safely in the 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness that Thelen Subaru provided. Bella made national news after her story, of chewing off her leg to escape a tether, reached large publications and social media. Thanks to the quick thinking of her rescuers and the support she received from Saginaw County Animal Care & Control, we are all confident that Bella will be happy and healthy in her new home!

When we heard that Bella would require transportation to a shelter in Utah, we didn’t hesitate in helping provide her rescue team with a new Subaru from our inventory to use. We also helped financially by providing complete coverage of all fuel costs that the group would have to pay.
