Although it is a bit of a drive from mid-Michigan, you don’t want to miss out on the wide array of things to do in Traverse City! Located right on the northern shore of Lake Michigan, this is a premier spot for summertime fun. Gorgeous beaches invite you and your family to soak up the sun and play in the Great Lake for the entire day. Grand Rapids – 

One of the largest cities in Michigan, there is a diverse array of attractions for families to go and enjoy on any trip. Outdoor enthusiasts will adore the beautiful Frederik Meijer Gardens which showcases a wide diversity of flowers and other outdoor nature elements with added sculptures for a breathtaking walk. The city is also home to the John Ball Zoo, with plenty of different animals and special exhibits for animal lovers, both young and old. Families with little kids will enjoy the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum and all the hands-on exhibits that encourage your little ones to expand their horizons while having fun doing so!
