This fun and important event will raise funds for different veteran and first responder causes in our own community, the Bay City area. This year, Thelen Auto Group will be raising funds for the Michael Cathcart Memorial Park. Sargent First Class Michael Cathcart, from Bay City, was killed in action on November 14, 2014 in Afghanistan. What better way to honor him than a Freedom Ride to support this incredible cause!
The Jeep Freedom Ride, sponsored by Thelen Auto Group, will be held on Armed Forces Day, Saturday May 15, 2021. Sign-in will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at Bay City’s own Tri-City Brewing. This fun event will be a photo scavenger hunt. Participants will be given a list of patriotic-themed locations in the area. Your photos must of course include your Jeep as part of the adventure. One of these locations will included a fun-filled trail ride. The Ride will conclude back at Tri-City Brewing at 3:00 p.m with live music, food trucks and exciting prizes. Entry fee is $25.00 per Jeep and $10.00 per passenger. Click here to register today for this fundraiser for our local heroes.
