Oreo Crispy Treat Cars Recipe

It is time to start planning those summer parties that your families love! Want a really cool treat for the kids? These Oreo Crispy Treat Cars are perfect! Just follow the instructions below and you will have a really neat way to bring out the “racer” in everyone.

Ingredients

• 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
• 1 pkg. (10 oz.) marshmallows
• 5 cups crisp rice cereal
• 16 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped (about 2 cups)
• 2 oz. (1/2 of a 4-oz. pkg.) semi-sweet banking chocolate, melted
• 60 Mini Oreo bite size cookies
• 30 candy-coated chocolate pieces

Instructions

1. Line 13×9 inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on High for 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to evenly coat. Microwave 1 ½ minutes or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 seconds.
2. Add cereal and chopped cookies; mix well. Press onto bottom of prepared pan. Cool completely.
3. Use foil handles to remove cereal mixture from pan. Discard foil. Cut cereal mixture crosswise into 8 strips. Cut 5 strips crosswise into thirds. Cut each of the 3 remaining strips crosswise into 5 rectangles.
4. Place 1 small rectangle on center of each of 1 of the larger rectangles; press gently to secure. Decorate with remaining ingredients as shown in the photo to resemble cars, securing to treats with melted chocolate. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until firm.
